KIDS COUNT disseminates information about the status of children in each of the states, through an annual national report, separate state reports, and a series of public events. Since 1992, PRB staff in Domestic Programs have provided assistance in data collection, analysis, and reporting to the Annie E. Casey Foundation and to members of the KIDS COUNT network. The reports and other activities raise awareness of children's issues and provide an information resource for advocates, policymakers, and the media. With the Foundation’s support, PRB has produced more than 150 national- and state-level tables on the well-being of children and families, available on the KIDS COUNT website (www.aecf.org/kidscount/sld/).
