With support from the Fred H. Bixby Foundation, PRB’s Global Leadership Program builds on a legacy of successful population education activities. The program gives students, educators, and mid-career professionals the opportunity to deepen their understanding of population issues, work with demographic research and data, analyze current population, health, environment, and gender issues, and learn to communicate research findings more effectively. Program activities include support for visiting scholars, summer internships for students, development of population education materials, policy communication workshops in developing countries, and PRB staff development. The program supports one senior-level fellow annually.
