Claire O’Brien is a program associate in International Programs, joining PRB in 2023. She works primarily on the MOMENTUM Knowledge Accelerator project. She has a wide range of policy and research interests, from maternal health to immigration to global development. Prior to joining PRB, O’Brien worked as a research assistant investigating women’s health inequalities in rural Pennsylvania. She studied Arabic in Amman, Jordan. While there, she also interned for the American Friends Service Committee, conducting policy research and working with refugee and marginalized groups in the region. O’Brien holds a dual-major bachelor’s degree in international relations and Arabic studies from Bucknell University.
